How to achieve a new rank:

Genin = Simply sign up for the club.

Chuunin = Provide the club with your fanwork.

Jounin = Participate in at least one contest.

ANBU = Win a contest.

Sannins = Become a Mod. Sannins are chosen by the Hokage. In the case that a Sannin must step down that Sannin can choose their own successor from among the ANBU or Jounins.

Hokage = Be the Sannin that takes over when the Hokage steps down.
